Its the middle of the night and I am supposed to be on vacation. Instead I have spent half the night compiling a list
of web links to worthy social, environmental groups. . . I have been researching many of our green products
and finding out who is walking the walk. Good mission statements are a starting point. Magic Hat Brewery for one had me on the fence . . as they spoke more about pleasing shareholders then doing anything good with their business and profits . . other than just making damm fine beer . . I guess I am demanding more . . . I want business with a purpose more than just money . . or money doing good stuff in this world. . . good stuff for a change. And its more than just products or green products . . . its doing good stuff too . . . A dear friend told me about some folks that have been pioneers in micro lending for third world countries, what they are doing is amazing . . and there are other folks that are trying to build libraries or build affordable laptops for kids, fresh safe drinking water for everyone!
So Im going to bed now . . .What I though was going to be a 15 minute project turned in to an all night affair as i explored more and more web links. Soon they will be posted off of our "world" page of the web site.
Check up on my other projects soon we will be adding mini cooper delivery and web ordering to the mix soon . .
